It's here! Registration is now open for our inaugural Arizona Summer Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge!

Arizona Summer Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge logoThis new challenge picks up where the Arizona Winter Challenge ends, starting on May 1st and running through October 31st. “Wait a minute! Hiking in Arizona, in the summer!?” you might say. Well these six peaks are at higher, cooler elevations near Sedona and Flagstaff.

Bear Mountain and Wilson Mountain are in Sedona, and O'Leary Peak, Mount Elden, Kendrick Peak and Humphreys Peak are near Flagstaff. At 12,633′, Humphreys Peak is the highest point in the state of Arizona. Get an overview of all six peaks as well as an overview map of the mountains here.

    1. Thanks, Deborah! There’s a lot of beautiful hiking in Arizona. When I hiked the AZ Winter Challenge this past January, I was really stunned. I’ll be in Sedona and Flagstaff in early May and I’m really looking forward to exploring more.
