This is an extremely rocky trail. Basically a boulder crawl for most of it. Â Â It is beautiful, but definitely a physically challenging hike! Â Worth
This was probably my least favorite hike. I must say that if just felt like I was climbing on a stair stepper. Having said that,
– Amazing sunset but not a good idea to come down in dark without a head lamp. -heavy traveled
Loved hiking with a quail who followed us from the parking lot to the saddle and half way back to trailhead.
If you like stair steppers, you will love this! Â Nice moderate hike on a sunny day.
