Narrow path full of loose rocks. Underestimated the length and the elevation change we were getting down in the afternoon and even in January it
Fortunately the wind did not get too bad until we were already at the top – otherwise we might have turned around!
Quartz Peak! It’s been about 15 years since I went up this trail. Getting to it before the sun came up was kind of sketchy
Great hike with a great group of hikers. Difficult trail to get to without a high clearance vehicle.
Very windy. A slow, meandering trail to a lovely, quartz-topped peak. Excellent views all around.
