A hike I will never forget! Black Crater summit was intermittently in the clouds as were the views of Jefferson and Three Fingered Jack on
Gorgeous day. There were some lingering flowers and butterflies at the top.
Sooooooo beautiful! The views are spectacular and there were hundreds of orange and black butterflies all around. Loved the wildflowers too!
We decided to bring a few friends to Black Crater last Saturday for a relatively short/easy hike with amazing views of North Sister!
Good hike, not to many other people. There was a lot of butterflies all around. Really clear day as you can see in my pictures.
