Maiden Peak

The trail started out with just a few mosquitoes and then there where none.  The trail was clear until we got to 6200 ft. where

Wheather was raining and snowing  on and off, which is ok for my training. trail was nice well maintained all the way to maiden lake

This was the hike that we chose to finish our challenge on and boy it did not disappoint. The first few miles into the hike

Woke to a chilly Bend morning. Both Crescent bypass and Hwy 58 roads were icy so took it slow. Drive was about 1.5 hours. Service

What’s not to love about this hike? Incredible 360 views at the top, a gorgeous Fall day, a lake to visit and a little snow
