Maiden Peak

Weather was nice with a few refreshing rain drops. Unfortunately no view from the top due to smoke.

After a week of smoke, I woke up early Sunday morning to clear skies. Driving south of of Bend I hit some patches of fog

Great day for a hike. Clear skies so the views were amazing. Took side trip to Maiden lake. Very beautiful.

Waze gave good directions to the trailhead where parking is limited but the trail is not very popular. It was a nice, quiet, beautiful day.

First peak in the @teamrwb Bend Chapter #SixPackOfPeaks sufferfest. Attempting all six peaks in under 24 hours.

Mosquitoes will carry you away until right at the summit. The first two and a half miles were pleasantly climbing then work began after crossing
