Maiden Peak

Beautiful blue sky weather. A bit dry and dusty. Hiked this as on overnight. 12.5 ish miles day one. PCT trail past the Rosary lakes

Did the 12 mile option from the Maiden Peak trailhead off Gold Lake Rd. as an overnight backpack. Trail was well maintained with no blowdown

Conditions were good and I enjoyed the cool shade of the forest trail. I started at 7:15 and was at the summit at 9:30. Unfortunately

Weather was nice with a few refreshing rain drops. Unfortunately no view from the top due to smoke.

After a week of smoke, I woke up early Sunday morning to clear skies. Driving south of of Bend I hit some patches of fog

Great day for a hike. Clear skies so the views were amazing. Took side trip to Maiden lake. Very beautiful.
