It was a beautiful day for a hike and mushroom hunting.  For the most part the abundant mountain bikers were respectful and worked with us,
We began this hike in headlamps and had many happy hikers follow our lead in the dark morning time. This summit felt like we were
Hike took about 2 hours each way. We encountered Thunderstorms on the way up and on the way down. Was definitely out of hiking shape
Was visiting a friend for his 50th down in Manitou Springs so the timing was perfect. We started a little bit later than we should
A few more people on this hike, being that it's a 14er. Also a lot more wind! Glad NE taught us to be prepared for
Getting Bridget, our camper, to the trail head was where this adventure truly began! Good thing I was driving, and the old girl made it.
