mount Sherman

Speed not comfort. By dodging dicey weather in the area. So dashhed up west slopes moving fast and furious. It's a short fun route.

Fast dash up the western slopes. Dodging some building weather. Fun day out.

Very nice morning. A bit windy in the afternoon on the peak and light rain/hail on the way down. Beautiful views.

My first hike in this challenge! Just like a lot of the Colorado hikes, not very long mileage but a lot of elevation gain. The

Climbed Elbert, went to the Oregon coast for a week, came back and finished on Sherman.  Ridgeline on Sherman is a fun experience if you

Steep grade out of the gate – cool this morning and windy on the way up.  Got pushed around a bit because of the wind.
