Hiked with Shelby, as I am for all of these 6 pack hikes. To be honest neither of us was feeling it- this was one
Camped Friday night. Â Got there 5:30. Lot was full by 9pm. Â Expect to park way down towards I70. Â Easy trail to follow at 5:15 am.
Stayed overnight at the Trailhead to be sure we had a spot to park  – arrived around 5:30 pm and lot was full by 9.
I highly recommend Torreys before Grays.  Torreys approach is steeper so it’s a nice to finish in a easier way.
This trail is well marked and heavily travelled. Beautiful views on a clear day!
