First time hiking Cuyamaca peak. I arrived early around 0700 excited to run most of the hike. I was virtually alone. Only 6 other hikers,
Started before the sunrise but the moon was very bright so it really didn’t matter. Took the main trail up and Four Oaks trail down.
Very pretty hike, I love climbing threw manzanita and pines. You get all of that plus more up to Corte Madera. Was a very gloomy
Trail was great, some thick brush but totally passable. Hike was great, and one of my favorite so far in San Diego area.
