Went up Fire Road because we couldn’t find the trailhead.  Even on the paved road there is lots of snow and ice making it slippery

Peak 6/18 Midweek hiker and double peak kind of day with my bestie. Volcan mountain followed by Cuyamaca peak. Snow on fire road to summit.
Cuyamaca peak As we started our journey we got lost to find the actual trail or road for that matter. We scramble here and there
It was a beautiful day to take on Cuyamaca Peak. The only thing that made it a little difficult was the patch of Snow Ice
