El Cajon Mountain

Came to 11.9 miles, + 3701 ft, added El Capitan to it for a 0.2 mile addition each way.  My final hike of the challenges

This hike was HARD! Lots of up and down both ways. There was mud from the recent rain, slipped once. Due to the recent weather

We had perfect weather for this hike!  We arrived at the trailhead at 5:30 so we had to park on the street. The trail head

It’s a great weather to hike El Cajon since it has no shade.  It’s also a good workout since the trail is up and down

Great weather. Little bit of rocks to get to summit but trail well-marked.

While this hike was long and difficult due to all the steep inclines it was very scenic and beautiful especially when you get near the
