High Point

This was a long Trail. Most of the trail had no shade.  We had good weather but got a little hot in the afternoon.

First two miles were extremely strenuous because of the heat. The bugs were terrible but the peak was great. Really nice to see amazing lookout

It starts off as a rocky single trail for about 2 miles then it turn turns onto a fire road. There were a lot of

Afternoon Palomar summit in the sun, with a great view of snow capped San Gorgonio and San Jacinto dominating the view all the way up.

Great day for a hike.  2 small patches of snow on the side of trail, lizards, horney toads (small and large), and a baby rattle
