Preparation for Mt Whitney is underway, and another peak has been successfully conquered (Hot springs peak), with 10 miles now completed.

I love this hike and was shocked to find it so empty.  My friend and I were the only hikers on a sunny Sunday!  

Left early on trail at 0630. Chilly on the start but the 2 mile climb out warmed me up quickly. Nice hike with deer, coyotes,
