After completing Cuyamaca I headed over to solo hike volcan Mountain. It was about noon and there were still lots of folks on the trail.

Trail is well maintained, looks like they took a snowplow to the dirt. Steep with not a lot of flat spots, I definitely underestimated it.

Hike was a little more unforgiving than I expected. Pretty steep the entire way up. Maybe I was just sore, who knows. Great hike, trail
