Mount San Jacinto

Don’t forget your micro spikes. Very icy for more than half the trail.

We took the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and hiked from up there to the San Jacinto peak. The parking fee at the premises is $15.

There was ice in a few places.  Alltrails directions are correct. However the distance as shown Alltails is 10 miles while acceding tp rangers it

18 hour hiking day. Exhausted, waiting for the tram to take me down.

Beautiful weather for a hike. Trail can be hard to find at times and lots of ice on the trail. Challenging trail but beautiful scenery.
