Santiago Peak

So the famous words, I will never do that hike again, 1 and done. And there I go doing it again ???????????????? the Joplin trail

A very strenuous but lovely (for the most part) hike. The route was not at all heavily trafficked. On the way up between the trailhead

Great off roading. 80s and sunny. Took a little over 4 hrs to complete. Lots of OHV and dirt bikes. Only 2 other hikers. Perfect

Glad we did this on a weekday as their were just a few trucks and motorcycles. A few patches of snow but easy to cross.
