this was a cool hike because you can see saddleback from so many peaks in the area.

drove through the visitor center at 6:45. Parked at Main Divide cutoff and hit the trail a little after 7. We were in the shade

Drove through the gates at the visitor center around 6:45. The road up is dusty and heavily used by OHV and dirtbikes. Definitely recommend high
