I have a confession.
I don’t have any tattoos, period. Maybe it’s a generational thing. But I’ve thought about getting an outdoor-related tat.
So convince me. Show me your outdoorsy tattoos and what they mean to you. -

I don’t have any either. I want to do vegvisir (nordic compass) on my chest, but still didn’t take that step.

This was right after the artist finished it. This was after our JMT hike in 2018.

I was reading some old posts and ran across this one so I thought I would respond.
This one is kind of obvious as to what it is, but has a lot of meaning.
I traveled a couple times through a good portion of South America and took in a lot of the outdoors. From Patagonia to the Amazon, some crazy times and experiences as a solo traveler and the amazing people who always looked out for someone not their own.
In the Americas I have lived at the very (almost) top in Fairbanks, Alaska, and traveled to the (almost) bottom, in Tierra Del Fuego.
I will most likely eventually add related outdoor items to the sides (e.g. Ice axes, mountains, campfires)
