June Challenger Highlights

The end of June marks the halfway point of 2021, and for some areas, it means the snow is finally gone and the trails are open!

Here's a recap of June from the Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge community, with some photo highlights.

June by the Numbers

  • We have 2,685 challengers registered across ten regional challenges
  • Challengers logged 557 hikes in June, hiking over 6,000 miles and climbing over 1.2 million vertical feet

    1. Sweet! That’s a beautiful section of trail. I love the view of Banner Peak from Thousand Island Lake.

  1. In June, I went to Alaska to backpack the Resurrection Pass Trail with the Outmersive film crew for our upcoming documentary! It was amazing and I definitely recommend Alaska as a great hiking/backpacking destination!

  2. Did a couple of high elevation hikes … Alta Peak in Sequoia National Park and Mt Dana in Yosemite. Mt Dana at 13000 ft was fun going up but quite challenging while coming down the screed terrain.
