September Highlights from the Six-Pack of Peaks Community

September adventures were bountiful, based on the stories and photos shared by our challengers. One of my big adventures for this year was hiking the Teton Crest Trail in Wyoming — a beautiful trail through epic scenery, and relatively uncrowded in mid-September. My hikes in the Oregon, PNW and Utah challenges prepared me well for the rigors of backpacking in Grand Teton National Park.

Now as summer gives way to fall, it's time to look back at the highlights from September.

Gear Giveaways

Kudos to our September gear giveaway winner Rob from Montclair. He won a Hydro Flask and a LUCI Solar-powered Lamp.

For our October giveaway, you could win a one-year subscription to Adventure Journal. AJ is my favorite print publication devoted to outdoor adventures of all sorts.

The quality of the writing, photography and the printing is the best I've seen, and my growing collection of issues has earned a place on my bookshelf.

We have an option to leave a comment on another challenger's hike log to earn additional entries, up to one per day!
