We decided to get to the trail as early as possible (we love our morning hikes).  All morning it was cloudy with a few sprinkles

Had planned to go via Lake Poway route, my phone’s  map application routed me to the East Approach Trailhead???? Short, but steep.  Lines for photos

Trail was great we beat the rain! potato chip was a little slippery

This was a great trip! The hike was pretty exposed but weather was cool in March. It was very windy and cold at the top.

weather was great cloudy but it did not rain. trail conditions were fine. felt great and look forward to the next challenge!!
