Black Butte

This was a spectacular hike from the bottom of the butte… so a 3000 foot elevation gain!  The first three miles were in the trees

Upper trail was beautiful most of the way. The Northwest switchback is still icy, but easily passed with caution or Yak Tracks on your shoes.
