Stayed overnight at the Trailhead to be sure we had a spot to park – arrived around 5:30 pm and lot was full by 9.
I highly recommend Torreys before Grays. Torreys approach is steeper so it’s a nice to finish in a easier way.
This trail is well marked and heavily travelled. Beautiful views on a clear day!
Great hike. Hot and sunny, but there was a pretty consistent breeze that was my friend. Saw a few people on the trail, but had
Bucket list to do the Manitou and Pikes Peak. Didn’t get much sleep flying in the night before, plane was delayed. Those stairs wow 2768
