    Lesley and I have had fun this year hiking with our dog Robin! She really seems to love exploring and getting to new places and has enjoyed Cuyamaca, Corte Madera and Hot Springs so far.

    I've also noticed feeling stronger. I zipped right up our local training hike Monserate Mountain with my backcountry pack somewhat loaded and felt it was the easiest it's been. Although this last week due to work my exercise was cut in half. Hope to be back on track this week.

    Glad to hear you enjoyed doing the Tough Mudder! We actually had to move to the December event due to a bad ankle sprain my wife got. We're only 30 minutes south of Lake Elsinore so it's works out really nicely. Any tips you would give a newbie to the event? Thanks

    I'll be using the Fit Challenge as well as the San Diego Six Peaks Challenge to prepare ultimately for a Yosemite 4 day backcountry trip where we will summit, camp and traverse El Capitan in June. But before all that using it for preparation for my first 5K & Tough Mudder in April and also skydive wingsuit training that I have taking place in February in Sweden. And just fun and adventure while trying to stay fit.

    First picture is a night at Parsons Landing Catalina Island in campsite #1 right on the beach. We used this years San Diego Six Peaks Challenge to prepare to hike the Tran Catalina Trail. The second picture is Clouds Rest Summit looking down into the Yosemite valley.

    I would be interested in your yoga program if it's pretty beginner & basic. More flexibility would help in basically everything I do.

    I think I would love too, BUT it takes a full life commitment to it and something that you have to do to be happy. There's no way to make it safe so you have to be willing to die to do it. I'm just not there. I have a blast just being able to jump out of a plane whenever I want so I'm just sticking with that.

    Yeah it looks fun and challenging. We're just dipping our toes by doing the 5K. But they also have 10K & 15K at the same event.
